I remember something Simone Giertz said after her tumour was removed that sent the heebies right up me, she said that when she would be trying to get to sleep in the weeks after the surgery she would sometimes feel cerebrospinal fluid dripping inside her head across the void where the tumour no longer was. This freaked me out because it brought up so many questions, such as "There's now just a void where the tumour was?" and "The surgeons don't fill said void with saline? or blood? or M&Ms?" But yeah, having a cavern in my head with water dripping from the ceiling to the floor is one of my new completely irrational fears...
