  1. People don't like finding out that their perception of the world might be wrong or just different to someone else's. A lot of liberals try to educate or change conservatives but I say let them die, things that don't adapt die out. When a parent disowns their gay kid it's not the kid that dies alone filled with bitterness and I'm hunky dory with that knowledge and wish people would stop trying to argue with the other side. We don't convince animals that they are food because it's a waste of time and energy.
