Comments by "Rob Fraser" (@krashd) on "50 Insane Submarine Facts That WIll Shock You" video.
When he referenced the largest sub he was correct in that it was an Akula (known in the west as a Typhoon) but he included the dimensions for a Pike (known in the west as Akula), after that he mentioned Akula's popping up in India and the Caribbean, these were the smaller Pike/Akulas and not Akula/Typhoons.

The Typhoon is an Akula class, Typhoon is just NATO's reporting name for it. Although the facts that were included were from a Pike-class (known as an Akula by NATO). 14,000 tonnes is the average size of a US, British or French ballistic sub, a Typhoon was over 40,000 tonnes - twice the displacement of the 2nd largest sub (America's Ohio-class).

Obviously no conflict happened as we are allies with France, but there was damage to both vessels and both had to return to port, they just weren't destroyed as the video shows and both subs were similar in size, both being huge ballistic subs.

It was in the video.

Subs in the US adopted a lot of British customs including having a small hazing party on the deck of the sub whenever a newbie crosses the equator for the first time, usually lots of custard on a British sub as that is usually involved in the humiliation somehow.

That's in there at around #10
