  2.  @magiccarpetmadeofsteel4564  The furious American reaction to Pearl Harbor was because they saw it as a sneak attack, which was not Japan's intention - in fact when the Japanese found out that the declaration of war didn't arrive until after the attack they were mortified because to attack an enemy without warning was as dishonourable as you can be.
