  1. The vast majority of EU rules are in place to help the guy on the street, this is in direct opposition to most other governments where everything is set up to favour the wealthy. People in the EU don't know how lucky they are to be under that umbrella.

  4. This is an EU directive that made iPhone users all over the world safer. There had previously been stories of iPhone users not being able to call for help when they have needed to because while staying with friends they haven't been able to find a compatible charger and it has caused their phone to die, including at least two cases of women being raped while attempting to walk home in the early hours of the morning because they could not call a taxi with their dead phone. Is there a fantastic reason that Apple would put people at such risk by making their phones incompatible with every other phone on the planet? No, they just want to force you to buy an Apple charger in order to get more of your money. I would never touch an Apple product in a million years, they know the universal charging standard increases the safety of phone users but they only care about money.
