  2. Nothing to do with faulty in this specific video! Even western escalators are not something you let a toddler travel on down on their hands and knees because tiny fingers and moving parts are mutually exclusive! Chinese people have a serious problem with awareness and their children end up getting sucked in to and maimed by all sorts of things, household appliances, farm machinery, vehicles, doors, if it has even an obscure danger then either an elderly Chinese person or a Chinese toddler will find it and somehow manage to impale themselves on it or fall in to it's machinery. Every video you can find of a three-year old dangling from a 23rd floor window will always be Chinese...
