It's not impossible, for over 1000 years or more we managed to protect society from them by putting them in institutions, then in the 1960's we had a medical breakthrough in antipsychotics and decided to release everyone and close the institutions whilst simultaneously trusting people with poor mental health to take their medicine every day - because obviously someone who hears voices that say stuff like "Don't take those pills - they are trying to poison you" can always be trusted to take their medication, every day, voluntarily, on their own.

  4. You can have as many opinions as you like in the UK. If you were a native English speaker and understood our language better then you would have realised that this video is talking about a family's right to get a second opinion, not the parent's right. A patient can ask for as many opinions as they want, an unconscious patient CAN NOT! Keep practicing though.
