@ARandomCogboi And countries with universal healthcare also have private healthcare, a private healthcare that isn't being used by 95% of the population so waiting times to be seen when you go private are almost non existent, you practically get a hospital to yourself.

Even if we lived in a utopia today WW1 would still have been a waste of time, it was a completely unnecessary war brought about because of alliances and treaties.

It depends on the war. WW1 was as meaningless as many of today's wars but WW2 was fought against fascists who sought to exterminate those they did not like and they had to be stopped.
