  1. A Rangers fan (who would rather hold a Union Jack at matches than dare touch a Saltire) and a man who has the Union Jack as his avatar, it's no surprise where your fealty lies. I think it is you guys who will be surprised when we get another referendum. I hate the SNP, I've never vote for them once, and never plan to, but I would vote yes to independence. That probably shocks you because you have both assumed that the SNP and independence go hand in hand but there is a lot of us that can't stand the SNP but still want independence. And why? Because Brexit was a mistake, two thirds of Scots were against it because we don't believe in it, but it's happening and very soon it will ravage this island and destroy what little industry the Tories haven't sold off, in fact anti-Brexit sentiment has grown so much in England and Wales now that people are starting to see what reality feels like and so I imagine the 63% of Scots who were against it is probably closer to 80% by now. It only takes a little over half of them to think - like me - that England and Scotland no longer want the same thing, England wants to be the centre of something big, Scotland just wants to be part of something big - kinda like we currently are until the 31st of December (how's the trade talks going by the way?) "United we stand, divided we fall" - So long as it's the UK that is united but not Europe... "Sovereignty means everything" - So long as that sovereignty is in London but not Edinburgh... The hypocrisy is not lost on most intelligent Scots. I made a mistake in 2014 by voting against independence, I felt British then, now I don't feel British. I wonder how many Scots since 2014 are going to change their vote like I am? Do you think more Scots will change their vote from a yes to a no now that England has signed us up for the destruction of our economy, or do you think more will change from a no vote to a yes vote in this current climate of Anti-Scottish sentiment where the Daily Mail continually parrots the line that we are stealing English money?   2.  @sammy323  Obviously, Brussels has just a sliver of British sovereignty and the English hate it, while London has almost all of our sovereignty but we should be fine with the incompetent Tories fucking up every decision for all 4 nations. That's laughable.

  3.  @sammy323  Norway isn't in the EU and it's one of the richest nations in Europe, it's also the only other nation that has oil. In fact the reason Norway is so rich is because they haven't had 55 million other people living off the revenues of their oil while simultaneously calling them scroungers and making up bullshit about subsidising them. Scotland is the one that has been subsidising the other three since 1969, two of them are grateful while one is full of bigots that distort numbers to make us look like moochers. That isn't a friend. We also own around 70% of the UK's waters (look at any map of the UK EEZ) which will come as a huge surprise to the English as many only voted out of the EU to get the Spanish and Portuguese out of British waters but after #IndyRef2 the English won't be able to fish in most of the waters either. On top of fishing and oil we also have shipbuilding and we have thriving biomedical and digital entertainment industries. If you are saying we wouldn't prosper alone then you've been listening to the anti-Scottish nonsense the Daily Mail churns out for it's readers as we have more than enough industry to support 5.5 million people. Maybe once the English see what a catastrophic failure Brexit is going to be we can reform the UK, but I very much doubt it.

  4.  @sammy323  A small portion of our economy not the UK economy because we Scots are allowed to keep around 11% of oil revenues in accordance with being 11% of the population. The other 89% goes to the rest of the UK because the oil is considered a national asset and not a Scottish asset, despite being entirely within our waters. Why else do you think Westminster allows us all of the perks we have that England, Wales and Northern Ireland don't get? All while we have the only budget in the UK that runs on a deficit. It would seem to me that if a part of your country was spending more than it makes while giving it's citizens a lot of free stuff that no other part of the country gets then you would do something about it, but Westminster don't do anything about it. In fact they go out of their way to keep us in the UK despite us being a national drain on resources. Funny that.

  6.  @petergould9174  South Americans are already slaves, they have been slaves to the US for two centuries so they can remain simple farmers growing America's coffee. I think South Americans are just finally realising that when the US speaks of "investing in South America" they mean funding paramilitary groups and leadership coups that keep progressive people out of government there.

So you are saying that the UK and Germany (who make most wind turbines and who get 100% of their energy from renewables on good days) shouldn't be able to make the wind turbines that they keep producing in their thousands? Have you told anyone that these countries are doing the impossible then?
