Yer talking about refugees, not backpackers. Wars in Eastern Europe, Syria & other unforeseen circumstances have arisen & there has been an influx of migrants/refugees because ot it. Do you think we should take a shoot on sight policy against them ? The only reasonable way of dealing with it is to do it as humanely as possible within the EU democratic framework which has arisen out of the members states long history & tradition of accepting refugees. However, I do think the EU should be doing more to stop the UN Security Council warmongering & displacing populations.

@ylliblee5073 Legislature allows for the processing of genuine refugees in accordance with international/UN law, same as Britistan & other non EU countries do. International law dictates that refugees are entitled to claim asylum in the FIRST safe country they arrive in. Belarus is not an EU country, therefore it is not the EUs responsibility to process asylum seekers on behalf of Belarus, or Turkey before them. Belarus is deemed to be safe by both the standards of international/UN law & by the very fact they are opening their country to migrants. This now is a de facto attack on the borders of the EU, it is an invasion, not a big one or an armed one but an invasion nonetheless. One orchestrated by anti EU/European foreign governments/military intelligence's, therefore it is a NATO responsibility until such time NATO permits the EU to form a standing army, under French leadership & independent of NATO & its cancerous Anglo/American hegemony.

They're allowing the EU to become destabilized to protect weakened brexited British corporations. And because of NATOs mandate to protect Europe the EU is prevented from protecting itself meaningfully with an army or effective border patrol.

That is what has been agreed via qualified majority. Poland & Hungary are just shaking their pom poms & making noise for the knuckle draggers who voted for them. Problem = Refugees/Migrants arriving at a few specific locations Solution = Disperse them evenly throughout the EU or refuse to accept them & make a financial contribution to the EU Member countries where the Refugees/Migrants are arriving. Its no longer up for debate, its been settled. Option A: Accept refugees Option B: Refuse to accept refugees & pay other EU countries to deal with them on your behalf Option C: Leave the EU.

You support Hungary applying to join the EU, signing up to pre existing EU Treaties & then refusing to accept those treaties when it doesnt suit their whims ? The EU has an exit process, in case you never heard of Brexit, the UK used it very recently.

How are their civil rights under threat ? Hungary is free to refuse to accept migration quotas, same as every other EU country is. You either accept migrants or you contribute financially to the EU countries where the migrants landed. It isn't even close to being a civil rights issue, the people of Hungary voted to join the EU, now they are in the EU.
