@mistersniffer6838 Stabber may have had a point but the force he used in self-defense was excessive. If indeed it was self-defense? He did initiate the public disorder, & was even asked at one point if he was drunk. In the end he was aggressively surrounded by what became his victims. Perhaps he will get his sentence reduced on appeal?

@MiketheNerdRanger No, you would like to think I was jesting, however, I was in fact raising a serious point, I was merely using an amount of absurdity that put my comment on a par with the OP. As for your question about more people like this? Are you talking about the OP or the Stabber in the vid? In the case of the OP, no I don't want more people who are so detached from their fellow civilians that they think they are a different species & its a source of confusion to them when their fellow citizens don't comply with imaginary, pseudo-intellectual categorisations. I wouldn't know where to begin in changing the amount of them out there, but I'm pretty sure enforcing equality laws & redistributing the wealth would be a solid start. In the case of the stabber, I believe that like the OP he is a product of his environment. How he acted out, in my estimation, is the result of being forced to repress his sociopolitical opinions & the explosion of violence that erupted from that repression was to be expected. Laws exist protecting THE PEOPLE's rights to express themselves (in a civilised manner) & if they were enforced fairly what he did could have been averted, so to answer your question with the simple yes or no that you were seeking, I say yes, I would like to see more people like him, because despite his documented behaviour he is but a human being & as such, under the same duress as he saw it, none of us would have turned out any better.

@thewhite8uard In principle its not, well spotted. The only difference I can think of is that its in a different state & the verdict from the Rittenhouse show trial has never been challenged in a federal court, therefore the Oregon court is under no obligation to follow the precedent set by the Wisconsin court. Also, homicide by firearm is considered more socially acceptable & less barbaric than homicide via blade.
