Or what is the UK producing that no other developed country isn't already producing & at a cheaper price in the case of the EU due to its ability to bulk buy resources & materials ? How can an economy of 60 million who have poorer educational standards & lower GDP compete with a 450 million strong economy that isn't even 25 miles away from Britistan ? Where is the value to the free market ? Delusional hateful arrogance isnt a resource, unless in times of war.

It will grow but compared to wat it was pre brexit, it can only shrink while the logical place for the international investment to go is to the EU, 20 miles away in mainland Europe or 13 miles away in English speaking Ireland. They're either gonna have to rejoin the customs union n comply with food safety standards or say goodbye to anyone who wants to trade with the EU from Britain.

China is investing in a canal linking the Danube to the Adriatic Sea, theyre building a Belt & Road trade route through Asia into Europe, while the EU is investing billions into the development of China. Market economics dictates that if you're not in the club along with those countries n trading blocks involved in those trade routes then you are going to get left behind. Wat brought prosperity to Ireland was the Good Friday Agreement, brokered by the USA which in turn encouraged deeper integration with the still developing EU. Once the Euro was by Republic of Ireland, both Northern Ireland & the Republic Ireland seen the greatest economic growth & social development in their history. America's international influence has brought about both Ireland's & the EU's economic strength.

Within 50 years it will be a united independent political entity aligned, politically, socially & economically with our European neighbors. We will probably be driving left hand drive cars on the European/American side of the road within 25 years. The English led UK will probably have rejoined the EU by then.

In effect the the Republic of Ireland will be expanded to incorporate it, but its not quite that simple. There will have to be a political restructuring, the creation of a new political entity that ensures the people of Ulster are fairly represented within a democratic Irish Republic. Not much will change other than the current symbolism.
