  1. Who did Smith beat to earn a shot at the LHW title ? Last I heard of him he was timidly letting little Canelo bully him for 12 rds at SMW,. He was shelled up for so long like a helpless punchbag in that fight that apparently his arms swole up due to the pathetically gun shy beating he was taking. With that said, even though he is bound to be one of the biggest betting underdogs to ever set foot in a championship ring due to his whimpering display vs Canelo, this fight vs Beterbiev, who is undoubtedly THE BEAST FROM THE EAST, could resurrect Smiths career & restore credibility to his name regardless of the result. A genuinely brave performance vs Beterbiev is nothing to be scoffed at but given Smiths most recent capitulation at the level, I expect hes there to collect a pay check n make excuses, again.
