Well done Czech Republic !

Bill Clinton was impeached for leaving a stain on a secretarys dress, Trump insights a coup that has 5 people killed & they're debating if they should impeach him !!?

Its a fund everyone has contributed to, therefore everyone has a say.due to the sensitive nature of the proposed spending, giving foreign aid in this matter. The EU is a multi ethnic, multi cultural union & we all have relationships with nations from outside the EU that we value. The veto enables the member state Governments to protect the interests of the People who democratically elected them. There are sound legal & democratically principled reasons why Hungary & Poland shouldn't be allowed to vote on this or any matter while in its current position within the EU, namely refusing to abide by the rule of law which is a foundational principle of the EU & a fundamental requirement for membership within the EU. But to say that a veto shouldn't be required is naive at best. This is the democratic process in action.

You say assaulted but you mean attempted murder.

The pretense of national pride. 😏

Can't these "Journalists" report from the Belarus end of this no go zone ?
41
@graveperil2169 Bollox. Britistan had a veto on what if any EU regulations it wanted to adopt. Britistan wanted out because they couldn't dictate or back seat drive their way into being the Overlord of EU Democracy.
36
@0x6F1 Why, who did they nuke, Japan ? 😏
33
@NLJeffEU Britain put up red tape to trade with the EU by Brexiting. Before Brexit they were in the EU n therefore there was no red tape. Britain made the choice, not the EU.
33
Lincoln, Kennedy & his brother beg to differ. 😏

If the Pope is Gods voice on earth but that Pope then turns around & answers a politically delicate question concerning LGBQT people with the question, "Who am I to judge ?" how are we supposed to take anything he says seriously ? That is assuming we ignore all the recent crimes his underlings have committed & covered up.
28
Once upon a time, a comedian asked the UN to unite against their own Security Council. Everyone agreed with him until Russia & China vetoed it & put the matter to bed. It was nice of Russia to allow him to make an appearance tho.
23
Join BRICS to weaken the strength of the dollar as the worlds reserve currency & then find yourself considered "uninvestable" by US corporations, such a STRANGE outcome, TOTALLY unforeseeable.
22
@PhatPhinx 30 years for Britistan to get back on a Par with the EU standard of living ? More like 50, unless theres a drastic political & diplomatic turn by the Brits. Market Economics dictate that "Catch Up" is the name of your game until such time you finish incrementally renegotiating Brexit until it is in effect a Brexit in name only, which in reality was the only rational outcome possible from Brexit. 10-20 years of economic slide n decline, 30 years of incremental growth to regain parity. Other than that, its going to take a global catastrophe of proportions never imagined that somehow leave London least affected.
18
As for a 2/3 majority ? If one NATO nation is attacked, all NATO nations come to their defense. Not 2/3 but all.
18
Constructive peace talks about why Russia should acknowledge Ukraines right to exist & its right to self determination ? 😈
18
Stephen Valentine If theres no benefits to being in the EU why did you stay in it for over 40 years then for over 4 years beg n negotiate for favourable terms for if you left it ?I #BrokeBackBritistan
17
@babalonkie LoLz Exports to EU down by 40% Economy shrank by 3% City of London usurped by Amsterdam as Europes share trading capital, all inside 6 months, not the 18 months you claim. Brexit came into effect in Jan 2021, not before then.
17
Britain still has top class military intelligence & is in alliance with France & the USA, its still a major world player in military terms.
17
@paulbailey7641 The Good Friday Agreement is as much an international treaty as the Anglo Irish treaty of 1921 is. If we are going to start arbitrarily changing & or rescinding international treaties to suit ourselves, personally Im all for changing the 1921 treaty & adopting the united Ireland the Irish People democratically voted for in the first Dail Eireann 1919.
17
7% of their energy imports come from Russia, hardly critical.
14
No more salmonella eggs, or mad cow disease. How will the EU ever manage to cope without such quality contributions !!?
13
And fish oil ... derived from the abundance of Brexit Mackerel 😏
13
@callaghan728 Go on then. NI voted to remain in the EU, wats stoppin ya ? #Britistan #YesterdaysMen
12
Like Trump ? 😏
12
Have I got this right ? English speaking natives are complaining about neglect from the French speaking government so have started killing English speaking children to gain their own state ? Who are they going to govern if their children are dead ? Are they gonna entice French speaking families to their childless state ? They either haven't thought their policies through, or they're separatist movement is being led by government agents.
12
@kurtgodel5236 Britistan is an advanced nation with a highly educated population, If they vote on the toss of a coin its because they choose to, not because they have to. Equally if they choose to ignore the facts before they vote on something, its not because they have to, its because they choose to. If in hindsight they regret their decisions, thats the price of Freedom & hateful ignorance.
12
Scotland is Britain. Scotland is indigenous Britain. Scotland = Alba = Britain How can Britain leave Britain ?
11
Yes, wars never happen. 😏
11
@twinwheels4717 5 million Europeans, victims of circumstance, stranded by economics, who moved to Britistan under EU conditions, not Brexit conditions Vs the 25+ million Brits including the entire "nations" of Scotland & Northern Ireland who voted to remain. Well done Jonny English. Could you cram yer other foot into yer mouth now ?
11
@Aristocles22 How are they gonna deliver this North Sea Oil ? Brexit unicorns or Sovereign Mackerels trained to drive trucks ?
11
Right wing rally ? Spice Boy Parade. 😏
10
@tonyatgoogle6076 Thats why yer in here typing in english, not russian eh ?
10
@tonyatgoogle6076 Educated like Pavlov's puppy. 😏

@dantheman3022 Name one example of them doing all the barking? Like em or not Brits are team players, when its their duty to talk they will talk, when its not they wont. So far "The West" is going through the old " Who, me?" routine while Russia is doing all the talking. So far, Russia has provoked RAF patrols off the coast of Ireland, Johnsons letting em know the Brits think they have his number.
10
You say respect but you mean tyranny. The British had no dictatorial powers in the EU so they left to vent their tyranny on their own working class. Wheres the respect in that ?
10
@davidray6962 You are ignoring the option of the UK continuing to comply with the same EU food standards it has been complying with since 1973 & remaining part of the Customs Union it was a part of for 48 ? years. Therefore no border is required.
10
Britistan takes another step toward becoming Europes North Korea.
10
@linusa2996 That is a plutocracy you are advocating, not a democracy. The way the EU Budget is set, the European Commission makes a proposal, it is then debated by the EU Parliament & the EU Council of Ministers. When the 3 are in agreement the proposal gets passed. In matters of a sensitive nature, such as in the case of giving foreign aid like in this matter, the Council of Ministers has to be in 100% agreement. The veto exists so that the national Governments of the member States can protect the interests of the People who elected them, its not only Hungary who has a veto. In principle it is democratically solid but in this matter given the situation where both Hungary & Poland have European Court rulings against them for failing to abide by the rule of law, I personally cant see a legal or moral principle for excluding them from the decision making process until such time they are in compliance with the EU Treaties they agreed to when they signed up for membership & have since then been a part of the amending & expansion of those treaties since their membership.
9
Moooo!!!! ... Is the battle cry of Women of powerI 😋
9
It hasn't just been down to one actor but the EU has made a huge difference to the quality of life in Ire & its contribution to Northern Ireland has been invaluable.
9
fight ! Fight !! FIGHT !!! FIGHT !!!! 😈

*quack work.

A British company, or any EU company importing non EU produced goods to their "EU Hub" are still subject to customs red tape unless the exporting country has a trade agreement in place with the EU, which Britistan does not have. A British company that owns/leases a garden shed or storage unit in Latvia will still be subject to EU Bureaucracy unless that company is registered & pays taxes in the EU. Ipso Facto, the "EU Hub" is in fact an EU company that has no official connection to Britistan. "EU Hub" is just a fancy, politically correct way of saying they have decided to lower production in Britistan & invest their resources in the EU instead. Well Done Brexiteers. Thanks for stimulating the EU economy at Britistans expense 👍
9
@YaMumsSpecialFriend But how many of those drivers or swimmers will get brain cancer inside 30 years from taking unsafe, untested, experimental vaccines that have been rushed onto the market ?
8
Instead of British industry (island) exporting through Dover why not export through Belfast instead ? Then Britistan has the best of both worlds, their regressive Brexit & they retain access to the single market. All they have to do is join the customs union. Its about time the Yanks stepped into this as Guarantors of the GFA, this Tory government has been trying to undermine it & bring it down since they got elected. The people of 9 county Ulster weren't represented in those Brexit negotiations & aren't being represented now & nobody in Dublin ever has had the spine to step up n be counted on that score.
8
Thank you Turkey ? What did Turkey do ? Thank you Turkish company for war profiteering & exploiting the Ukrainian Peoples vulnerability during their hour of need.
8
Or, hows about the objecting country has to either produce factual evidence of what they are accusing the applicants of, or shut their mouths ?
8
Brexit is a self inflicted wound.
8
@Pronto What he is saying is that the UK isnt as big a player in peacetime politics as the EU is, therefore he would like to see the EU weakened so that the UK could be artificially seen as being more important & influential than it actually is. Basically, he is snivelling because his delusional world view isnt shared by anyone outside of Britistan.
