Its got nothing to do with Putin or any one man, if the Russian MILITARY provided Russian paramilitaries with missiles & those missiles were then used to down a civilian passenger jet then RUSSIA, its parliament & its Military brass are complicit & therefore are responsible for the incident. If you have taped phone calls from Putin confirming it then its only the icing on the evidence cake, but icing isnt necessary to establish that what you have already got is indeed a cake.
