You want to sell gas but don't want to invest in the infrastructure to make that sale possible, you not only don't want a Canadian company providing work for Canadians & stimulating & strengthening the Canadian economy, you don't even want a foreign company to do it, you want a foreign GOVERNMENT to do it for you ! Jesus. God help America with neighbours like that ! No wonder they are so eager to hold onto their guns !

Germany itself has a North Sea & Baltic sea coast, wave & wind power in abundance to create enough green hydrogen to fuel the planet, let alone the EU, let alone its own domestic needs. The EU has the North Sea Coast from North Denmark to North France & it has an Atlantic Coast from the South of Spain, taking in Portugal, West France all the way up to the most northern point of Ireland. If they cant get together to harvest the richest Wind & Wave energy regions on the planet to not only create a failsafe, sustainable carbon neutral EU wide electric grid but also the world leading Green Hydrogen production plant, then something is rotten in the State of Denmark, dear Lizza.

@AaronOkeanos I agree, but if we can't call upon our friends in time of need then we have no friends & theres nothing worth talking about. "This too shall pass" What is worth talking about is how we as a European Union can stimulate the global economy by taking our place at the head of the green hydrogen & carbon neutral electrical supply industry

@sarahbrown5073 If that is factual & initially Im unconvinced how that could be, seeing as Ive experienced no biological damage nor heard of any despite living in areas with wind turbines for 30 or so years now, but even so, if low frequency is harmful to human life or the quality of human life then its a mere technicality to tweak the design to change or remove said frequency. Also, Im not married to wind power, Ive no particular preference for it over wave power or any other abundant, failsafe source of renewable energy in the EU regions I mentioned.

@sarahbrown5073 Im not an environmentalist, or anything as super special or fancy like that, Im just a common citizen who likes the idea of working in harmony with nature to do stuff, like heat & light a home, power transportation, & help mitigate any environmental damage that the industrial revolution has caused & might still be causing to the planet. So educate me, if you can, which endangered birds reside off the coasts I mentioned & seeing as there are no renewable energy production plants in place there at the moment, why are they already endangered ?

@SaulTink Trumps wall & the USAs relationship with Mexico has absolutely zero correlation to the EUs relationship with Canada & the Free Trade Agreement between them. With that said, the USA does have the financial clout & political might to make Mexico build a border wall for them, paint it in red white & blue & plant flowers around it. However, it was in poor taste for Trump to make such a cheap low class demand & it has reflected very poorly on the USAs international image.

Why wouldnt you be ? Canada has a free trade agreement with the EU hasn't it ? Im happy to expand Canada's market but make no mistake the tail isnt wagging the dog here & there's no charity involved.
