  1. Those tankers have to be insured before they are allowed to dock at ports. The Insurance underwriters are all western companies. If Indian & Chinese ports are allowing uninsured vessels to dock in their ports other ships wont be allowed to dock there under the terms of their insurance & therefore the only imports the Chinese & Indians will be receiving by sea will be Russian Oil. Cheap oil but the price of everything else will become way more expensive for them to import. Also, their exports by sea will be drastically reduced. If their ships cant get insured the Chinese, Indian & Russian Governments will have to insure them & at that stage it will come under the terms of sanctions against Russia & nobody will let them dock at their ports for fear of being sanctioned too. Cheap Russian Oil for China & India leads to economic recession for China & India. Putin has dealt them a losing hand & they are fools if they play it.

  2.  @cookiecola5852  I made a comment about insurance too. The companies who insure ships are all western & "The West" has sanctions in place against Russia. Uninsured ships wont be allowed to dock & if they are allowed to dock the ports will be subject to secondary sanctions such as no insurance company will allow any ship to dock at a port that permits unsafe/uninsured vessels to come & go as they please. that will make the price of imports sky high for any country taking shipments of Russian oil, it will make their exports so expensive to import it wont be worth importing them. Russian oil will crash the economy of any country who imports it & that in turn could cause temporary supply chain issues throughout the world until places like the EU & USA increase manufacturing domestically. What we could see is the traditionally rich nations becoming richer once again & developing economies like India & even China crashing hard, maybe even so hard that they return to Communism. Interesting times.
