Instead of solar panels on the train, they could put directional vents to turn extra efficient wind turbines like that Nicola Tesla's turbine & put that lecky back into the grid, London Underground style. A Passenger train has gotta move anyway & with cleva scientists the aerodynamic drag of the vents can be mitigated.

Im not married to em tho, apparently its a great idea thats been awaiting a practical use since its invention & equally Im not married to the idea of having no blades on the wind turbine. The wind turbines could be geared to turn an alternator thats excited by the regenerative braking & produce huge amounts of lecky n stick it back into the grid.

@onradioactivewaves You are insisting upon getting hung up on the Tesla turbine, which wasnt the point of my comment. Ive already said they can be run of air, compressed air, Youtube it. I also said I wasn't married to it, I mentioned it as being an example of an efficient turbine, nothing more.

I suggest you watch the video & quit hanging on my every word & or mention of Tesla. In the video he describes the process by which the London Underground puts lecky back into the grid via its trains. Tesla has nothing to do with it. He also mentioned that solar panels on top of a train is a bad idea. Its from there I came in, not seeking attention, not snooping, not hanging on every word like a stalker so that I can yell "Gotcha !" in girlish glee with all my boyfriends giving me a group hug, unlike someone I could mention in the Gestapo Boyfriends Club.
