Kids dont acquire assault rifles from their friends house without permission, then travel over 20 miles to attend a political protest with an armed gang who murderously oppose it, but terrorists do. They join murder gangs n murder the political opposition. Maybe they think its a game but in reality its just premeditated murder.

Its his friends rifle, the arrangement they had is the rifle is kept in the friends father's house n Rittenhouse can take but only with permission, which he didn't get on the ight of his terrorist murder spree, ipso facto he stole the gun that night.
