  2. I agree womens boxing or UFC isnt generally a high enough standard to be on the same card as the men it lowers the quality of entertainment & of the sport. Some female match ups can buck that trend & be of genuine quality but generally speaking I wouldn't buy a show that includes them. But the other side of that is, if they wanna fight we should allow it. To me its sn unsustainable business model & cant sustain itself so for political reasons they piggyback it onto the male sport. Is that right or wrong ? Its up to you to decide but it reeks of Soviet Union Communism by stealth & secret police to me which I disagree with. The other side is that we live in a society thats rich enough to be charitable. Boxers are well paid as are broadcasters so who is it hurting ? I say its hurting common decency & democracy so I don't support it by buying it or engaging with it politically. Its unacceptable to me so I reject it. Simple as. Do better or Im out.

  7. If you wanna make an argument for why Mickey should be included then Im all ears. I seen him fight throughout his career & then after I seen his movie I cringed coz it looked like he was raised in an Ireland away from Ireland which lots of Irish immigrants create for themselves.

  16.  @thesmilingvagrants  People say "Raging Bull" is the best boxing movie ever, I say that Rocky & its sequels are. Others say Raging Bull is the best boxing biopic ever n I agreed with them, until I seen The Fighter. Christian Bale was as excellent in it as Di Nero was in Raging Bull. I know a guy thats dead now that Bale coulda based his character on. It was too real in parts n made me cringe, hence Ive only watched it once in the 10 or so years since Ive owned it. For an Irishman, it has to be the best boxing biopic ever.
