McG done great within his limitations & he done it Irish Style, he put his neck on the chopping block n made shit happen. McGregor was dead at the weight, zero stamina & sluggish reactions, look at how often Mendes tagged him & how easily he tagged him. Look how easy Mendes took him down. However, cutting that much weight did give McGregor a power advantage in the striking at 145, a power advantage he left behind at 145. You train to do 5 rds with Jose Aldo, when he was still THEE Jose Aldo, yet you GASS inside 2 rds vs a guy who took the fight on 5 days? notice. Mendes on a full camp DESTROYS McGregor, just like he was destroying him until McGregor escaped that Team Alpha Male Guillotine & turned the tide of the fight, fatigue clouded Mendes's judgement after that & McGregors very slight conditioning advantage took over. If McGregor fell in a river he wouldnt only just come outa it bone dry, his pockets woulda been fulla salmon ! Lucky doesnt even begin to describe his run.

Mendes with no camp The luckiest punch ever thrown vs Aldo. Mentally he broke Porier before their fight but mentally Porier was broken by every opponent before his fights at that stage in his career, he fought off emotion. McGregor is the epitome of "Right Time, Right Place" & "Smoke em while you got em" The luck of the Irish only begins to describe his career.
