  2. I thought it was dull as dishwater too until someone told me that Murphy described it as a MASTERCLASS. Now, for fear of being labelled a casual, I have changed my opinion of it too.

  3. Theres literally 1 million ways to win or lose a MMA contest, you dont have to do either A or B, you have the full alphabet n unlimited variations of expression within it. Wouldn't have been wise for Murphy to fight in any way that suited Emmett's skills better, no reasonable person would ask that of him. However, Its far from unreasonable to ask n expect him to fight in such a way that us fans can see that he is actually trying to end a fight, as opposed to looking to get rewarded for surviving one in relative comfort.

  4.  @sloth316  Landing what tho? If he was landing effectively Emmett would have been stopped in his tracks n Murphy woulda pushed for a finish. Harmless tippy tapping in retreat doesn't trump effective aggression. Effective Aggression FORCES an opponent to defend. Defending FORCES an opponent to do nothing.

  5.  @kidcudi913  Its NOT a beauty pageant, cosmetic damage counts for NOTHING in a mans world. If Emmett was damaged he wouldn't have FORCED the action for 25 mins n FORCED Murphy to retreat, HARMLESSLY, for 25 mins.

  9.  @Jeffveldhuizen-l2q  Its a masterclass because het told us it was a masterclass the following day, hence me calling it a Murphy Masterclass. Think of it as being a current version of (Old Man) Hopkins & Floyd telling us that we are racist for being unimpressed by their harmless, boring, journeyman survival tactics. As for my own part in it, consider it a master class in deception & sarcasm. 😇
