  1. Challengers especially, need to quit specifying "Interim" when talking about their title shot. Once an interim title is created, by definition the title gets DISPUTED & there is no longer an undisputed champion, in this case Jon Jones, he now becomes an interim champ too until the title becomes undisputed again, especially since he won a vacant title & never defended it. Otherwise what you get is idiots & goons like Gathje disrespecting & devaluing the title & claiming he wants the "REAL" title even though his path to the interim was tougher than Nurmagomedovs was to the vacant title. Once an interim title is created the Championship becomes disputed & you have to treat an interim title like its a full title, just like McGregor did & does. Aspinall needs to take note.
