Those Journeymen were top class amateurs, Williams medaled at the Euro Championships & went on to fight Klitschko for a world title. How many world titles has JP fought for against someone of Klitschkos quality? Are you seriously trying to say that Danny Williams wouldn't beat a pampered Disney Kid? McBride was a 6'6 250 lb Irish Olympian. Are you seriously saying that JP could compete at the Olympics & beat a Super Heavyweight!!!? Yer not living in the real world. The reason this "Fight" is being contested over 2 min rds wearing 14 oz gloves is to protect JP, not MT. You better believe if Tyson Furys fashion model brother can beat JP on points then he is in serious danger of getting finished by MT even if MT is almost 60.

I Cant believe this will be the largest live audience Tyson has ever fought in front of. From 1986 - 1996 the whole world stood still until a Mike Tyson fight was over. Id be very surprised if a live Mike Tyson fight didnt get 200 million viewers in the USA & Europe alone.

Obviously, due to his age & inactivity, Mike hasn't still "Got It", but I think he is showing us that he still has enough of "It" to beat a pretender, if not humiliate one. If Mike can still be "Iron Mike" for even 30 secs per 3 min round theres a host of top 10 contenders who will struggle to beat him. Given that this "Fight" is 2 mins per rd in 14 oz gloves I think he will be more than OK vs the pampered Disney Kid.

@Trønderfår I'm well aware of what you meant, I was being polite. Mike Tyson has spent more years in 14 oz gloves than JP has been alive. Boxers train in sparring gloves, not boxing gloves & typically a pro will train for at least 8 weeks for a 10 rd fight. Before they are pro they train all year as amateurs, wearing sparring gloves, not boxing gloves. Do the math. Tyson has been using 14 oz gloves since he was 13 yr old, I sincerely hope you aren't trying to say that JP is more adept at punching at not only a top-class professional level in 14 oz gloves than MT is, but that MT was the undisputed HW Champion at 6 years younger than JP is right now even though he can't deliver the quality of punch that JP can in a 14 oz glove?!! If that is what you meant, then I got it in one, while it was flying, not while it was dying. 😏

@bryanlace8302 Bernard Hopkins was a few days shy of his 50th birthday when he lost his world title. For 10 years before that Hopkins made a career outa fighting for only 30 secs per rd. Mike Tyson is NOT fighting for a world title, he is NOT fighting a World Champion, he isnt even fighting a ranked opponent! Age means nothing if you are in shape & have the experience to be a ring general & dictate the pace of the fight. Like Hopkins, Mike Tyson lived in the gym. Not only that, their every waking moment & even their sleeping dreams all revolved around boxing & how to become better. Success is no accident, excellence is no accident. From Mike Tyson was 13 until he was 26 Boxing was in every single breath he took, it was beyond a religion to him, it was life itself, which is why he was so successful so young. He is a walking, talking, living, breathing boxing encyclopedia & most importantly, he is in shape! Mike Tyson has forgotten more about boxing at the highest level than JP will ever learn. Mike Tyson has more boxing knowledge, more practical experience, more ringcraft & Championship know how than all of Jake Pauls coaches combined & all their coaches combined. People are forgetting just how much work went into making Mike Tyson Iron Mike. The man is a legitimate all time great. When he was Champ, they were looking back 20 & 30 years to Ali & Marciano trying to find a fighter capable of beating him, now he is almost 60 that are putting him in with kids 30* years younger than him. They have done it to nobody else, the man is one of a kind & JP is in serious danger of being humiliated, IF it isnt scripted.

Tyrell Biggs won an Olympic Gold by sticking & moving. Larry Holmes went 48 fights unbeaten at HW by sticking & moving. Pinklon Thomas went 27 fights unbeaten, won & defended a world title beating 4 world champs along the way, all by sticking & moving. We saw how Mike Tyson handled them & that style. That same style JP tries to use, just with much less skill, experience, durability & power.
