  2. On face value, yes. On a socialisation/propaganda level he is a Kiwi citizen embracing the historic Maori warrior culture. On a deeper level, at the same propaganda/socialisation level, it would be the same as Dricus dressing up as a Zulu Warrior or Cody Garbrant coming out in the Apache warrior gear. He is a product of his environment, it is what it is & its not necessarily a bad thing, Id have to hear an actual Maori's opinion on it before I could criticise. Perhaps the Maori's are proud to see everyone in their homeland represent their culture, in which case he doesn't look silly, its actually admirable, kinda.

  7. Have you ever seen the Maori Haka? Thats what he is representing. Cringe to see a non Maori do it but it is a part of his NZ culture tho, therefore it isnt cringe at all, its kinda proud.
