@ruthgiles8926 Nobody was convicted of murder. It was a tragedy, not a murder.

Clearly, the brother could have told the sister about the heart condition in the time after the fight & when the police arrived.

Did we watch the same video? The video I watched I saw two adult females approach each other without hesitation & start throwing hands. Nobody "Killed" anyone, the video shows the deceased was alive & well after the altercation as she pursued the girls to get her phone back. Tragically the poor girl died as the result of engaging in a fight but nobody killed her or tried to kill her, hence the verdict of manslaughter. 20 years in prison for a young mother is incredibly harsh. 20 years in prison for a 17 year old schoolgirl is incredibly harsh. It was a tragedy, an avoidable one yes, but nobody deserves to get sent to prison for 20 years because of it.

@mrnumba154 Shes immature & inexperienced, didn't you ever laugh inappropriately when something serious happened when you were a teen?

You talkin to me? If so, how I feel about my mom in any situation, is none of your business. As for the questionable behaviour of middle-aged mothers who willingly get into street fights, & the foreseeability of the consequences of their decisions, is not something Im willing to discuss with you.

@Tseeseven The girl acknowledged it was serious. How are you qualified to judge how she processed the information within a timespan of only hours or minutes & then expressed it? Some people take years upon years to come to terms with a death & speak about it sensibly. 20 years is a very harsh sentence to give a 17 yr old girl & to a young mother. Clearly, there was no murderous intent in what they did & there were no weapons used. Community service & a suspended sentence would have been more than enough.
