Im not defending him, just taking your ball n running with it, Abu Hamza was in the UK when he committed his actions, so perhaps he did think about the consequences, within the political climate of that time, when no one could have foreseen "The War on Terror" & UK willingness to surrender their jurisdictional authority to the USA. Im not overly familiar with the case or its legalities, nor am I a defender of his, Im just raising a talking point after your sweeping generalisation.
