  2. Alan Partridge Ideally. yeah I'd like to keep Turkey in NATO but it doesn't seem like their heart is in it. They have a good manufacturing base and good troops. Their grudging compliance with their obligations doesn't bode we for their continued membership. They can go it alone and don't really need NATO. They vacilate with the political wind and are of questionable reliability. Erdogon will have to go or vastly change his attitude toward the West. There will be even more Kurdish attacks now.
