  1. Seems you've missed a major point. What would have been happened to the Jews who were being pushed out of W Europe? Would the still be welcome in the K of Poland and K of Hungary and the Grand D of Lithuania, if these Kingdoms are not depopulated to a breaking point where they need to accept all immigrants or fall under the sway of their hostile neighbors? Where would the Jews have gone if not into those regions?
