@TheDarkever LOL, we're not a Democratic country, we only play one on tv. We've got entire segments of our population who are not allowed to vote because their 'voting/polling places' mysteriously close the day before. A city of 1,000,000 and a county of 100,000 will have exactly the same number of polling booths and voting machines, etc... So calling us a Democratic country for much longer, is worthy of a LOL.

@duXieduX The United States of America. We the Republic are not very Democratic. 2 of our last 3 Presidents didn't even win the largest amount of votes to become President. Both W and Trump lost the popular vote. We are NOT a Democratic country, We are a Republic, governed by highly effective Oligarchs. Hope you understand my meaning now.

Besides, what does Biden have to do with the fact that the United States is NOT a Democracy? And what does Biden have to do with the fact that Trump became President without winning more votes than Hillary? Absolutely nothing. Now grow up.

@LuisRomeroLopez I am almost positive that Canada has the best on the Continent. :D I will however grant you, that we are not a Banana Republic, like Nicaragua, either. So the American 'Democratic' model may be better than Mexico, it still leaves much to be desired. But I've heard some people say they have a saying here in the U.S. "You're my Mississippi." This means that as bad as they have it, at least there's always Mississippi to make them look better. Venezuela is Latin and South America's Mississippi but no one should pat themselves on the back that at least they aren't Venezuela. Decent countries don't pat themselves on the back for being better than international failures, and instead aim to reach the top. The U.S. has stopped aiming to reach the top, hence my disappointment.

@LuisRomeroLopez Fair point. Although I will stand by the meaning behind "we play one on TV" since we pretend to be better than we are on an almost daily basis.

@LuisRomeroLopez Entire State Legislatures engage in voter suppression, across the U.S. That is far from even close to Democratic. This is why I don't call the U.S. a Democratic country. Imagine going to vote for President and your vote won't count because no one will accept your vote because your party is not a majority party in the State. And the reason it will never become a Majority is because of such tricks. We have States with 5 Congressional districts carved up, in such a way, that even though one party receives 60% of the State wide votes, they only have 1 out of 5 (20%) representatives in the National Legislature.

@luckychops2162 That might be true. The Mississippi thing isn't something we say here in CA. I think it is a cultural reference that people use in the South. For example I grew and they had Polak jokes here in CA in the 1980s, and then I met people form the South and they had the same jokes, except they were Alabama jokes. As for Canada failing, that is highly unlikely. Allow me to explain why I believe so. They aren't spending 40% of their national tax budget on 'none of your business' wars. America isn't poor because we are lazy, it is poor because the country is in debt up to its eyeballs, trying to fight the world's wars. If instead we invested our money into infrastructure, education, and green energy, we'd be ridding high, leaving everyone else in our dust. But we just don't know how to mind our own business and then we wind up blaming everyone else on the planet for our own behavior. (That's how the Orange Man got elected, us blaming everyone else for our own misdeeds.)

@normanberg9940 One, you need to take your meds. Two, I never said I'm moving to Canada, also see #1. Three, ALL of the Founding Fathers were Leftist Liberals. Conservatives, believed in MONARCHY and anyone who spoke up was to be killed or silenced. That is what CONSERVATISM is, silencing all dissent, and blindly following one leader. The Founding Fathers were LEFTISTS LIBERALS. Majority of them were also Deists and NOT Christians. (Its ok, I'm not lying, so take the pills as instructed by your therapist.) Finally, see #1 and don't hurt yourself. Also, don't kick your dog, beat your wive, abuse your children, hit your elderly parents or attack younger siblings. But definitively before you start making things up, take the medications.

@normanberg9940 Also, the Founding Fathers lived in a world where 90% of the world's population did NOT live in cities. The modern metropoli are a fairly recent development. Most people lived in agrarian societies. Thanksgiving our national holiday, is a Harvest Festival because in the 13 Colonies, agriculture was our main form of employment. But again, breathe deep, grab a glass of water, take your medications, and don't hurt anyone or anything and maybe, grab a history book if you are up to it.

@normanberg9940 The Founding Fathers, were not alive long enough to see secession or emancipation or Jim Crowe or the KKK or the Democrats or the Republicans. There were no political parties in 1776, as I've suggested before, go crack open a history book. I'm the worst sort of person for someone like you to debate, I am an educated person. Also, you can have a million arguments with yourself, I see no reason for me to be involved. Asking yourself stupid/absurd/trick questions and then answering them, it the last refuge of the mentally weak. Straw-man arguments, work fantastically well, if someone feels desperate enough to answer them. I don't answer straw-man arguments, since I didn't make these arguments. You made these arguments so you are doing a fine job debating yourself, you don't need me for this. (Please take your meds.)

@normanberg9940 More straw-men for you to argue with, isn't that nice. Hugs not drugs. Quite frankly, I don't even know what you are arguing about. You can't seem to present a simple coherent narrative or a logical argument, since you don't seem to know what you are arguing against. This is why you failed from the beginning. You vomited an incoherent wall of text, arguing, everything from your lack of basic history, to lack of basic knowledge, to end up in a state of lack of logic, screaming at a padded wall. Your claim of 30 years of a legal profession, seems unlikely but even if it is true, you are not mentally agile enough to do so today. Personally, I doubt your legal expertise, since you talked about combines and tractors, which would put you more firmly in the agricultural sector. Or are you a lawyer/farmer/historian/politician? Stop embarrassing yourself and stop wasting my time.

@itsblitz4437 I want to agree with you but my electoral history is not strong enough, for me to make a definitive statement on past election machinations. Some folks I've spoken with, have said that in the past, the authorities had a much easier time covering it up their misdeeds because the machinery running things in the back-ground was invisible to the common citizen. I don't know how true those statements are. But I know that today, you simply can't hide things as easily, from police brutality, to election fraud all the way to government corruption and nepotism.
