Universities are NOT forced to prove results. Imagine you bought a car and it didn't work. You'd get your money back under Lemon Laws here in the U.S. The same goes for any other product in the U.S. If you told every University that they need to prove that 50% of their graduates will have jobs in the field they studied for or guarantee a refund, the Universities would shut down the useless degrees overnight. They know exactly which degrees are shit, don't kid yourself, they have the research data on it. They know most of their English degrees have a future in fast food service. And if they had to refund every English degree that now works at McDonald's, the wouldn't let 20% of their University students be enrolled in them and the teachers who have tenure, would be put out to pasture immediately for failing to teach.
