  1. This reminds me of my fathers Savage version of a browning Auto 5 (Savage 720 maybe?). Of course his is a different beast being a 16ga shotgun rather than a .35 rifle, but the long recoil action looks very similar. Fun gun to shoot. Soft shooter and smooth. It makes me think this Model 8 would be a very nice to shoot.
