  84. The valuable takeaway from modern shows and movies is they are not entertainment; they're propaganda disguised as entertainment. That's why the writing is so lazy. That's why they don't set up the scene and actually give the audience ways to form their own opinions about the characters. They don't want you to form your own ideas and opinions. They don't want you to think for yourself. The writers of she hulk want the message that "women are universally oppressed" to already be the context of the show before you even watch it. That's what propaganda does - it makes a claim with zero facts or evidence and it rams that claim home as much and as often as possible without stopping, because if you do it long enough, idiots will believe it. They've been grooming this generation since birth with "the message" and shows like this are exactly how. They don't want to give you any actual reasons why the main character might be oppressed. They don't want you to think about reason or logic or evidence for their claims. They don't even care if shes actually likeable or not because they just want you to presume she is, because shes "oppressed". They just want you to believe what they present and ask zero questions. And what's the result? An obvious and predictable propaganda piece echoing the same unfounded marxist feminist rhetoric about how "men bad, women good" and anyone who is "oppressed" deserves no accountability. And the great irony is that all this does is reinforce the axiom that feminists are their own oppressors, and that no one has any reason to trust, like, or respect them. It also reinforces the fact that the only real place where women can pretend to be victims is in the realm of fantasy, because in reality they're given more privileges than literally any other class, and everyone knows this. The entire show is one roundabout self own. But still valuable in a lesson of how to identify and dismantle propaganda.
