  1. One of the reason I really never watched american 'comedy' back then was the casual cruelty and the anti-intellectuality. Looking at all that stuff from Germany I did wonder what the selling point was when it was so blatantly mean. And the it clicked. That was the USP. And I have a distinct feeling that Ronnies media literacy is... erm... uh... hopefully satire?
