Chess is (on the organisational level) is unbelievably sexist and reactionary. This governing body insists that that men and women are inherently different... so much so that trans-men Lose their titles and status unless they de-transition. Very weired.

Trans-women and trans-men are being kept from playing while being out as trans.... so trans-men can't play either unless they play as women. Sort of plays havoc with the whole brain-ability 'argument', doesn't it? And are we seriously seriously seriously saying that women cannot play against men because male brains are so utterly different? That's appaling.
