  1. There is no problem with basket weaving. It is an extremly skilled task that needs years of training. You can train as an apprentice Flechtwerkgestalter/Flechtwerkgestalterin (the modern german word for basket weaver - and yes, you learn more than weaving baskets) in Germany, graduating after 3 years. Oh, and you get paid.

  4.  @Primus-ue4th  it takes 3 years of basic apprenticeship to become a basket weaver (they do weave more than baskets but their work covers it) in Germany. It is extremly skilled work. Training covers history of weaving, techniques, style, objects... and you get paid. If you think weaving a basket is easy you have never seen properly made baskets.
