Listening to those 5 from my Couch in Germany... where sick leave is not limited to a few days, where your boss will send you home if they realise you are sick to make, where sick leave is paid, where the concept of a paid for Kur (look it up) is ingrained in society, where everyone understands that rest is crucial... I want to have words with these smug b@stards. Making sure your staff is able to recuperate is crucial - and the decent thing to do. Oh, and forgott: you are entitled to sick leave if your kids fall ill (those are limited but still do help).
