  17. If Ted had spend all his live living in an asian country, as part of the community and culture would it matter if his parents were thought of as latino in the US? No. It would be up to him to tell us if he percieves himself as part of an asian culture (therefore asian) while ethnically latin. He is the type of guy who would tell a french person who is from Algeria that they cannot possibly be french because they are not white and from Paris. And does Ted remember that the spanish colonised the Philippines? Does he? While there might not be a person who he would read as latino living in the Philippines there sure are people with hispanic roots. Is he saying that that person is not asian? What is he saying? Is he ignoring that life and cultures are complicated on purpose? Would he tell a Sorb that they are not german? Would he tell a person whose ancestors came over from Turkey three generations ago that they are not german? Are not turkish? While they might identity as both?

And even if a men pretended to be a woman to creep on and creep out girls... what would that have to do with trans-women? And what are your thoughts on trans-men in women’s bathrooms? Are you saying that girls seeing a trans-man wouldn't wonder what a guy is doing in there? You do realise that if you want trans-women to go to the men's bathroom you are sending trans-men to the 'ladies'?
