He might be asexual. If he is he should be able to say so without facing negativ comments. In the current climate (fostered by his party) that seems impossible. Do I think he is ace? No.

Have you met evangelicals that accept that you are not having sex because you are ace? American evangelicals? I have a distinct feeling that not having sex should be a chore in their eyes and you should be available for sex within marriage - being asexual is not really an option in that scenario.

 @jewdy8915 some people are asexual. It's not hard not to have sex if you are asexual and no one is putting pressure on you to have sex. Do I think he is ace? No.
