  3. Even that is not entierly correct. And they didn't ho from the UK to America but went to the Netherlands first. Quite a lot of the Pilgrims had no working memory of life in the UK because they were too young (or were born in the Netherlands). They then proceeded to be a pain in the bottom in the country they emigrated to... cue Plymouth rock.
