Every child can have problems. Why do you assume that the parents knew that this was going to happen and that the meds would not work?

@captainadams8565 the airline refused to book the child. Therefore the father and the other kids could fly but not him and his mum. De-boarding the family is not the problem - refusing to take him at all is an issue.

It was no ones fault when the kid had to de-board. But not working with the parents? That is something an airline can do - and have done before.

Dope up? What do you think the doctor prescribed? Meds that help in a situation like this do not 'dope' a person.

@stevesterling1772 autistic boy being stressed and trying to make sense of a situation is not the same as a kid hitting their parents because they mean to hit them.

@kathleenwindsor5679 never knowing what is going to happen applies to everyone's behaviour. I do wonder what the rational of the med-evac companies and cruise companies was.
