  15. You do net get to asign a colour to him. Especially when he is talking about how american perceptions of colour cannot be surplanted onto Europe. We are racist sh!ts in our own way - denying that makes adressing european racism impossible. And him not seeing colour might be badly phrased... but it is still HIS attemt to describe HIS lived experience.
