  5. You do net get to asign a colour to him. Especially when he is talking about how american perceptions of colour cannot be surplanted onto Europe. We are racist sh!ts in our own way - denying that makes adressing european racism impossible. And him not seeing colour might be badly phrased... but it is still HIS attemt to describe HIS lived experience.

  9. They care differently from the US. Discrimination does exist in Europe- but the way it works and the language it uses is very different from the US.
