  1. 1956 (I think it was) Christine Jorgenson went public with her story of having gender affirming care in Denmark. Doctors in the US immediatly were swamped with patients asking for the 'danish cure'. Ms Jorgenson got so many letters from trans-folks asking for advice. People are trans. Some are not. Giving them the support and resources they want and need is the issue - not them being existing or being able to talk online. Oh, and the reaction to Ms Jorgenson in the media and society? Mostly positiv.
