  1. Same here in Germany. The longest I ever waited Was 10 minutes because I picked a time when people are more likely to go. And because it was a local election and that means the ballot is about a meter long (and your can pool votes or even spread voted across parties... so filling in your ballot takes a moment). Voting places are within walking distance, you get reminders that an election is scheduled, and postal voting is easy.
