Lets all remember that the boys in that book acted the way they did after extensive trauma. They didn't start out making each others lives hell but did it as a trauma response. What is the GOPs explanation?

@waverlyking6045 No, it wasn't. Where did you get that from? It's an observation on what happens when children are exposed to trauma and there is no help. The boys have no tools and support when faced with horrific scenarios... and that leads to more horror. You make it sound as if the book were a call to see horror as normal and acceptable when it is very much not.
