  1.  @mikeserridge4547  she didn't simply ask. She made others ask and at first refused to accept No as an answer. She could have simply sat down and taken the course together with others. She insisted on taking it solo - that means she did ask for preferential treatment and made civil servants do it for her.

  2. No, she tried to grt out of paying fines by taking an additional driving course (arrangements especially for her). She instructed her staff to put pressure on the people in charge after she was told that that was not possible - only after that she took the points.
