The acts she was in court for happend after they separated. Did Kevin fail to check on the kids for months? Yes. Was he part of the abuse prior to the seperation? Yes. Should it have been part of this case? No. He might find himself in court though, if his oldest children find strength and support to take legal action.

@shinski8114 Not checking up on your kids is neglect. Saying 'oh, I never went and made sure if they are okay means I am off the hook' does not work.

@private-private We know he never tried to keep in contact with his kids and activly tried to harm his oldest daughter by trying to get her in trouble with the law. How do we know? Because Kevin is a bit stupid and convinced he is untouchable - he told on himself.

@elnomio That is what he claims - but not quite how it works. He is their father and would have had the law on his side.

@pbear7814 None of that. They were kept indoors and on parts of the property where they could not be seen as soon as the abuse became visible.
