  3.  @lunamatthes2918  what happens if you break a let? What happens if you get cancer? What happens if you need medication that costs more than 300$ a year? I'd rather pay taxes and have healthcare free at the point of usage than have to even contemplate doing the math on 'can I afford treatment for my sick child'. The thing about taxation is, it can be progressive and fair. You can design it to make it work for everyone. Or adopt something along the german model?! And who says thatbyour daughters insurance and co-pay will be less than 300$ (even if she stays generally healthy)? Healthcare is not a priviledge.
