@Bustedloads oh, Honey, are you even still thinking before typing?

@minaolenella869 in Germany it would be normal to call the police station to ask if they send someone over. Only then would you open your door... maybe.
20
@Bustedloads their training is clearly shite.
16
@godofnothing520 they did know. She was asked who was in the house and she told them that it was her husband and her children. They knew. And if this is standard protocol the standard protocol needs mending.
15
@JohnDoeplaceuknown there is absolutly no reason why they could not wait for them to come downstairs and leave the house. None. And that is how you secure a house? What? Seriously? By the way... police training in the US is shite.
14
@godofnothing520 you missed that bit where she clearly informed them that there were children in the house. They were fully aware. And if they really thought there was someone armed in the house they did a pisspoor job of it.
8
@adawaru640 you mean... because the body cam showed that she told them? Missed that bit? And she does not have to open the door. Her lawyer advised her against it.
8
@Bustedloads She doesn't need one. They raided her house to get information in her source... and to scare everyone witless.

@godofnothing520 your point? What is your point?
3
Xakkil no, you believe you did - but failed to. For it to be a joke it would have had to be funny.
2
@SkepticRee you don't know where I am from. You don't know how well read I am. You don't know my academical background - nor the sources I use to keep myself informed... But yeah... propaganda... Right.

Provided said country had something they wanted for themselves...

@dr1flush she didn't hide - she just didn't open. Which is her right. Of course the police didn't know if she had told them the truth. So the proper way to do this would have been to wait for the husband sbd children up come out and then search the house. There was no need to move in like that and to point the weapon. Besides... that's not how you secure a space. Extremly sloppiely eine. If there had been a threat they would have been toast.
1
@JohnDoeplaceuknown she was not reading law enforcment. You know why? Because it is her right not to open that door. And you really think that's how to secure a house properly?
1
@Bustedloads er, yes?
1
@dr1flush yes, you do get to 'hide'. You do not have to open that door. Please, re-read what your rights are with regard to search warrants. Her legal coucil (rightly so) advised her that she did not have to open that door. She only die so because the cops pointed a gun through her window.

Mir wird schlecht, wenn ich dass sehe... aber überrascht bin ich jetzt nicht.

Xakkil No, I didn't. I was busy comforting people who were worried about their loved ones.
